The Avengers Assemble, Our Hearts Rumble…

This should have been a older post, but i was unable to post yesterday, so here it comes…

Yesterday I went to see “Marvel’s The Avengers” it was a movie i was eagerly waiting for… and when i left the hall ohhh maaannn !!!! it was an lifetime achievement to watch the movie in 3D… The movie is sleek, shiny, witty and funny… Full of pulse pounding action, but it is not just another action movie… It is full of characters, but no one looks unimportant or extra… as per acting, Robert Downey Jr. rocks, and the close second is Mark Rufallo and Samuel L. Jackson. Others are also great, an this is the best hulk ever… IMDB rating is 8.9 and it has the 26th rank in the top 250 list of IMDB… I think it deserves a spot near The Dark Knight…

Day Out At VECC (Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre)

Today, we visited the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, besides Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Salt Lake… Here we means me and others people from our college… Although i was latge to arrive, and left my College Identity Card in home, but i got entry by showing my driving license ! Anyway, it was once in a lifetime opportunity, and was a rare experience… we entered the control room and the laboratory of the variable energy cyclotron, which was offline, and saw the machine, the cooling system, the ion source although, i have confusion regarding “Dummy Dee”… We were unable to see the superconducting cyclotron, which was in operation…
